The security model of Graphlytic contains several base entities: User, Group, Application Permission, Project, and Project Permission with a few simple rules:
Users are members of user groups.
Application Permissions are assigned to user groups. Application Permissions for User Groups can be managed on the User Groups page, accessible in the Main menu (top right).
The user has all permissions of groups of which he is a member. When particular permission is granted in at least one of his groups then the permission is granted for the user.
User groups are assigned to Projects. One user group can be assigned to multiple projects based on the Project Settings.
